Risk assessment and decision making related to land-use planning in France

Abstract

This paper describes and discusses suggestions that will be implemented in the French risk management system according to the new law on the control of technological and natural risks. In particular, the paper will focus on propositions to improve the efficiency of the land-use planning procedure.
