Effects of chronic exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields on energy balance in juvenile rats

Abstract

This study investigated the effects of a chronic exposure to radiofrequency electromagnetic fields designed to simulate a current chronic exposure from antennae base station on the energy balance in juvenile rats. The results showed a decrease in body cooling and an increase in energy saving. Most effects due to the exposure were dependent on the ambient temperature.
